A tribute to a madman and his band
Seattle’s Blizzard is not your average Ozzy tribute. The band is focused on the first two albums of Ozzy’s solo career and sheer master musical crafsmanship of the Blizzard of Ozz band. While performing highlights from outside this period, you can expect you will see one or both of the first two albums performed in their entirety and with amazing precision.
Bassist Theo Kappel joined forces with drummer Malcolm Monaghan to form the foundation of this musical unit. The two wooodsheded for about a year trying to find the right lineup and even gigging as Prince O Darkness until the guitarist they had started working with didn’t work out. It was then that Theo reached out to former bandmate Russ Stefanovich to bring the Rhoads. Unfortunately, shortly after this lineup’s first show, the band parted ways with their vocalist.
Enter versatile veteran front man Andy Brodigan in the lead role of the “madman” himself. With the one and only Rob “Rockfish” Oxford (the voice of Ozzy for KISW’s Twisted Tunes Ozzy parodies) on deck providing depth to ensure highest quality and availability and the Blizzard is ready to take you Over the mountain!
The group is ready to transport you back to a smokey, sweaty arena somewhere in the early to mid-80’s for a high-energy celebration of the madman and his legendary band. So whether you are Flying High Again or simply riding the Crazy Train, the Blizzard is looking forward to making Believers of all of you. ALL ABOARD!!!!
